KCMO records 156th homicide after deadly stabbing Thursday

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Missouri recorded its 156th homicide Thursday after one man died, following a stabbing.

A Kansas City police spokesman said officers responded to a reported stabbing around 1 p.m. at a house in the 3700 block of Gardner Avenue.

Officers found the gravely wounded man.

He died a few hours later at a hospital, police said.

Police say a person of interest is in custody.
