KANSAS CITY, Mo. — For the second time in a little more than four years, hundreds of thousands of revelers descended on downtown Kansas City, Missouri, for a championship parade.
Also for the second time, the crowds were mostly well-behaved during the Chiefs Kingdom Champions Parade, which started near the River Market and finished at Union Station.
According to preliminary figures from KCPD, there were only five arrests in connection with the parade and pep rally. Of those, three were removed from the area of the parade and only two were formally booked and charged.

There were two people arrested after a police chase roared down Grand Boulevard, which served as the main parade route, several hours before the parade.
The driver of the car was booked into jail on investigation of DUI and other traffic charges.
The car's passenger was briefly detained, but not arrested, police said.
Police will release more about the driver at a Thursday morning news conference.
KCPD also arrested one person at Union Station for disorderly conduct.
A “belligerent guy who fell out of a tree'' was not charged.
Oh, police also eventually detained this guy, the man and not the horse.
The man was released.
KCPD later clarified that the man with the horse, the man who fell from tree and the passenger in the vehicle that led police on a chase along Grand Boulevard "were all detained for investigation and removed from the parade but not booked/charged," according to a post on Twitter.
