KCPD IDs victim in deadly shooting near intersection of Lexington, Brooklyn

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person died Saturday in a shooting near Lexington and Brooklyn avenues in Kansas City, Missouri.

Police were dispatched to a shots-fired call at 9:15 p.m. and found a vehicle parked near the entrance of an apartment complex. The driver's door was open and a black male was laying on the ground outside the door.

Police identified the victim Sunday morning as Sade Abdi, 28. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is no suspect information at this time.
