KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City police are investigating a homicide in the parking lot of a bait and tackle shop.
Officials said a man was found with a fatal gunshot wound at about 1:15 p.m. on the 5500 block of N. Cambridge.

Police have not released any suspect information.
The owner of Blue Parkway Bait and Tackle said they could hear four or five gunshots go off. They also believe another person was with the victim at the time of the shooting.
Police identified the victim as Dominic Clarkson. Family members say he was 20, loved music and wanted to be a rapper.
They said he had gone to ACE High School and played basketball.
He also said the scene was all too familiar, as the victim's brother was murdered back in 2012.
That's one reason the executive director of anti-violence group KC Mothers in Charge, Rosilyn Temple, said something in Kansas City has to change.
"We have got to wake up. We have got to do something, do something right," said Temple, who encourages anyone who heard anything to call the police.
This has been the most violent year in KC since 2008.
"Despite all that, we have officers working 24 hours a day seven days a week. We have different outreach programs and continue to build in the community," said Captain Stacey Graves of KCPD.
Anyone with any information is asked to call the KCPD Homicide Unit at 816-234-5034 or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-8477.
