KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department is investigating a homicide after a 61-year-old man was found dead Friday near East 60th Street and Agnes Avenue.
Officers went to the scene about 2:30 p.m. after someone called about an unresponsive person near the street, police said.
Emergency medical services found Billy Richardson close to a vacant lot.
Police say Richardson sustained "unknown injuries" and was pronounced dead at the scene.
No word on a cause of death.
