KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man was found dead from an apparent gunshot wound Sunday inside a vehicle in the 200 block of Lydia Avenue in Kansas City, MIssouri.
Neighbors noticed a man, who police said is in his 20s or 30s, unresponsive in a silver SUV parked on the street and called police shortly before 5:15 p.m.
He was later identified as 39-year-old Delano Brown.
When KCPD officers arrived, the shooting victim was pronounced dead. Police initially termed the death suspicious at the scene, but called it a homicide investigation in the official release.
