KCPD seeking person of interest in deadly double shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Missouri, police are seeking a person of interest in connection with a deadly double shooting in August.

Police on Wednesday released a photo of the person of interest but did not provide further details.

The Aug. 25 shooting killed 18-year-old Jahmiere Green and 22-year-old Brandon Rainey.

Police responded to the area of Guinotte Avenue and North Montgall Avenue around 8 p.m. and found the two victims inside a vehicle on the street.

The two men were pronounced dead at the scene.
