KANSAS CITY, Mo — A Lenexa man drowned Saturday at the Lake of the Ozarks, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

MSHP said the 33-year-old jumped into the water and did not resurface.

Authorities located the man in the water. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

The day before, Aug. 9, a 69-year-old Warsaw man drowned in the lake.

MSHP said the man was fishing when he fell out of his boat, for unknown reasons, and drowned.
