KANSAS CITY, Mo. — UPDATE 10/12 3:50 PM: An Olathe man has been formally charged in connection to a hit-and-run crash that killed two men in Overland Park, including a high school senior.
Bradley Edwin Woodworth, 45, is charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
His bond is set at $100,000. Part of the conditions includes he be placed under house arrest with a GPS tracker and is not allowed to drive.
Woodworth was booked into the Johnson County Jail Thursday.
The crash, which occurred Saturday in the 15000 block of West 151st Street in Overland Park, killed 18-year-old Matthew Bloskey and 20-year-old Samuel Siebuhr.
The wreck occurredafter a Honda SUV struck a Toyota Avalon driving eastbound on 151st Street. The Avalon, driven by Siebuhr, lost control and crossed into the median, hitting a tree and continuing into oncoming traffic, police said.
The Avalon brushed a vehicle driving westbound on 151st Street and then continued the wrong way into traffic before hitting a fourth vehicle, driven by Bloskey, a Rockhurst High School senior.
Police said the Honda did not stay at the scene. The vehicle was located on Tuesday.
