KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man died after an argument inside of a convenience store in east Kansas City, Missouri, escalated into a shooting, police said.
Police responded to east 58th Street and Swope Parkway on a disturbance just after 6 p.m.
When they arrived, they were led to the victim who was unresponsive outside of Country View Market.
Police learned the man had been in an argument inside the store that later escalated.
During the confrontation, shots were fired and the man was hit. He died at the scene.
Police identified the victim as 24-year-old Torrie'aunn Ruth.
No suspect was in custody Friday night.
