KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man died in a shooting Monday evening in Kansas City, Missouri, police said.
Police responded just before 6 p.m. to the 3400 block of Wyoming Street on reports of shooting.
On arrival, officers located the man suffering from a gunshot wound in a parking lot in the area.
Officers began life-saving measures and called emergency medical personnel to the scene.
He was transported to an area hospital and later died.
A preliminary investigation found there was an altercation in the parking lot between multiple people before shots were fired.
No suspect was immediately in custody.
