KANSAS CITY, Mo. — UPDATE:November 16, 10:00 a.m.: The Major Case Squad is asking for the public's help in identifying several persons of interest in the homicide of Jacob Roberson, 28.
Several males and a female were seen in the area of the homicide.

A man was found dead Wednesday in a North Kansas City, Missouri, motel, police said.
Around 4:45 p.m., North Kansas City police responded to a call of shots fired in a room at the American Inn, 1211 Armour Road. Jacob Roberson, 28, was found dead of gunshots wounds.
A man in a separate hotel room was grazed by a bullet, but police said his injury was minor.
The homicide is North Kansas City's first of 2019.
The Metropolitan Area Major Case Squad, a group of detectives from across the metro, was called to investigate the incident. On Thursday morning, police said no one has been arrested in connection with the shooting.
