For the third time in less than 24 hours, Kansas City homicide detectives have a murder to solve.
The latest homicide was discovered about 7:30 p.m. at a house in the 7700 block of Sni-A-Bar Terrace.
Police found a man in front of a home with gunshot injuries. The Kansas City Fire Department declared the victim deceased at the scene.
The victim has been identified as Shane Hedges, 45, of Kansas City, Missouri.

Detectives are also trying to solve the murder of a woman found Monday afternoon at East 45th Street and Garfield and the shooting death Sunday night of Desmond Jenkins at East 41st Street and Bellefontaine Avenue.
