KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A shooting from over the weekend is now a homicide after the victim died from his injuries Monday.
On Saturday, August 4, officers responded on a shots fired call in the 4900 block of E 39th Place. When officers arrived, they found a man shot outside a residence.
The man was taken to the hospital in life-threatening condition. He died Monday from his injuries.
Kansas City police have not yet released the victim’s identity.
