Police have arrested a suspect who allegedly shot a man dead in the street in KCK late Monday night.
Officers located the man’s body near 10th and Kimball Avenue just after 10:45 p.m.
The authorities say the victim was a black male. Officials have identified the victim as Mark A. Payne, 26, of KCK.
According to KCKPD Chief Terry Zeigler, authorities arrested a suspect around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.
No charges have been filed at this time.
