KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One man was found critically injured inside a home and later died after a shooting late Monday in Kansas City, Missouri, police said.

Around 11:15 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at a house in the 5000 block of Manchester Avenue, police spokesman Sgt. Jake Becchina said. One man was found inside the home with a gunshot wound.

The man was transported to an area hospital, where he was initially listed in critical condition. He later died from his injuries, Becchina said.

The victim’s name has not been released.
