KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Grandview police are investigating a homicide that occurred around 5:15 p.m. on Sunday afternoon in the 1000 block of Pinkston Street.
The Grandview Police Department received a call that a man had been shot and was lying outside a residence at that location.
EMS personnel transported a 38-year-old man to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead with a gunshot wound.
Police later identified the man as Chad McLanahan of Grandview.
