KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man shot Wednesday afternoon in east Kansas City, Missouri, has died from his injuries, according to police.
Damen D. Taylor, 18, was taken to an area hospital in critical condition after a shooting shortly after 5 p.m. Wednesday near East 39th Street and Crescent Avenue. Police said he died Thursday morning.
Witnesses told police that Taylor was shot by a man who fled the scene. Taylor was taken by family to the hospital before officers arrived.
