UPDATE: FEBRUARY 24, 2018 9:45 AM. Police say the person of interest turned himself in to officers early Saturday morning. He is talking to police, and the investigation continues.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — KCPD is asking for help locating a person of interest after a man was found dead in a Kansas City, Missouri house Friday.
Police were sent to a disturbance in a house at about 4 p.m. Friday in the 5800 block of Forest Avenue.
They found an unconscious man on the floor. He died a short time later at a hospital.
Witnesses said they saw a man run from the house.
Police have not released the victim's name.
This is the 15th homicide of the year in Kansas City, Mo. There were 16 homicides in KCMO at this time a year ago.
