Missouri Highway Patrol Officers are searching for a suspect after he fled from a traffic stop.
According to reports, around 10:00 a.m. a Missouri Highway Patrol Officer pulled over a red minivan for a traffic stop near Highway 210 & I-35.
A suspect fled from the traffic stop on foot. Troopers attempted to stop the suspect but were unable to catch him.
A state trooper was hurt in the foot pursuit, resulting in minor injuries.
According to reports, the suspect is a white male wearing a red t-shirt and blue jeans.
Highway Patrol say they also found drugs inside of the vehicle.
Reports say a police helicopter is searching for the suspect in that area.
