Teen motorcyclist critically injured in crash Friday night in Olathe

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A motorcycle crash critically injured a 16-year-old boy Friday night in Olathe.

The crash happened about 7:15 p.m. at South Black Bob Road and West 125th Street .

Officers found the teen, who wore a helmet, suffering from life-threatening injuries, according to Olathe police.

Police said he was in critical, but stable condition at a hospital.

The 35-year-old woman driving the car was taken to a hospital to get checked for any injuries, police said.

Driver impairment is not believed to be a contributing factor in the crash, police said.
