Olathe man faces 12 felony counts in 4-vehicle crash June 28

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 29-year-old Olathe man has been charged with 12 felony counts in connection with a four-vehicle crash that sent 11 people to the hospital last month in Olathe.

The Johnson County Prosecutor’s Office announced Monday that Miguel Perez-Ramirez of Olathe has been charged with 10 counts of DUI aggravated battery and two counts of aggravated child endangerment.

The massive crash happened shortly before 5 p.m. on June 28 at the intersection of Old 56 Highway and Harrison Street.

Perez-Ramirez has been arrested and is in jail on a $250,000 bond. He is due in court Monday afternoon for his first appearance.
