KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Olathe police are investigating the attempted homicide of three children.
Police were called to the 1700 block of North Lennox Street just after 7 p.m. Monday.
The children's mother told police they ingested something meant to harm them. All three were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and were in serious condition as of Monday evening.
Officials did not say what the substance was or how the children came to ingest it.
