UPDATE 2:50 PM 5/29/2017: One of the victim's in Saturday's double shooting has died, according to Kansas City, Missouri police.
Police identified the victim as Lorenzo Mitchell, 18.
The incident is now being investigated as a homicide
Dispatchers say they were called out just before 3 p.m. to near the intersection of 21st Street and Kansas Avenue on a reported shooting.
When they arrived, they located two people suffering from gunshot wounds.
Police say one the victims suffered life-threatening injuries and later died. The second victim's injuries were not life-threatening.
No suspect information was immediately available.
