KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person was shot near an Olathe shopping center Tuesday evening.
Police found a 48-year-old woman with a gunshot wound near Santa Fe and Mur-Len. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. As of 9:50 p.m. Tuesday, the victim was in stable condition.
A 28-year-old male suspect was taken into custody following a traffic collision near Mur-Len and Cedar shortly after the shooting. He is being held at the Johnson County Adult Detention Center awaiting charges.
Police have not released any other information as of Tuesday evening.
