KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One man was killed in a stabbing Monday evening in Kansas City, Missouri, police said.
The man was found with stab wounds around 7 p.m. at East 35th and Olive streets, police said. The man, later identified as 35-year-old Calvin Syas, was found in the street. He was pronounced dead a short time later.
Witnesses told police he was involved in a fight with at least two suspects, who fled in a gold Chrysler passenger vehicle.
On Wednesday, police said a suspect was in custody, and charges are pending.
