Police: Kansas City, Kansas, man dies from injuries 3 days after being shot

UPDATE, Feb. 23 | The victim, identified as Cesar Tadeo, 53, of Kansas City, Kansas, died from injuries at an area hospital, the Kansas City, Kansas, Police Department announced Friday.

The investigation into the shooting continues.

ORIGINAL REPORT, Feb. 20 | One person was critically injured in a shooting Monday in the 200 block of S. 11th Street in Kansas City, Kansas.

Police said officers responded around 4:35 p.m. and located a man with gunshot wounds. He was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
