KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person died and a second was injured in a shooting in south Kansas City, Missouri, on Wednesday night.
The shooting unfolded in the 5500 block of E. 100th Terrace just before 8 p.m.
One person was transported to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. The victim later died.
A second victim suffered injuries considered to non-life-threatening, according to police.
The victims were not identified but are said to be males in their teens, according to police.
There was no immediate word on what led to the gunfire.
