KCK police investigate fatal shooting on Halloween night

One person is dead following a shooting on Halloween night in Kansas City, Kansas. 

Authorities responded to a disturbance call in the 3100 block of West Parkwood Boulevard around 9 p.m. Monday. 

Upon arrival, officers located a man with gunshot wounds outside an apartment complex. He was pronounced dead at the scene. 

The victim was later identified as Reneiko Carlisle, 24, of Kansas City, Kansas. 

This incident remains under investigation by the Kansas City, Kansas Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division, who is encouraging anyone with information to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
