According to multiple reports, a Kansas City officer was shot at while sitting in his patrol car Thursday morning.

Authorities say an officer was in his patrol car near 55th and Cambridge when someone began shooting at them from a block away.
The officer was not injured, and there was no damage reported to his vehicle, according to multiple reports.
Police searched the area for the suspect. Tactical vehicles were called to the scene and officers were wearing bulletproof vests. Troopers also assisted in the standoff.
At 2 p.m., police said the standoff had ended, and the suspect was not located.
