KANSAS CITY, Mo. — EARLIER: Officials say the man fatally shot near 26th and Quindaro Wednesday evening was Michael Haskell, 36, of Kansas City, Kansas.
Police have yet to release any suspect information.
PREVIOUS: Police are investigating a homicide in Kansas City, Kansas that they believe is connected to a chase in Kansas City, Missouri.
KCK police were called to a shooting at about 6:15 p.m. Wednesday near 26th and Quindaro. The victim, who was a black male in his 30s, was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
Officials have not said what led to the shooting or released any suspect information.
