KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Police say a 19-year-old man was shot in the head Tuesday afternoon in Raytown.
Officers were called out just after 4 p.m. to the 5900 block of Crescent Ave. on a reported shooting.
They arrived to find the man suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to an area hospital in serious condition.
Police later arrested a person of interest at the scene. The suspect and victim reportedly knew each other.
