KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man is in custody after allegedly shooting another man in Independence, Missouri, on Wednesday evening.
The shooting happened in the 15200 block of east 40th Street at around 7:30 p.m.
The victim was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries.
According to police, the suspect was later taken into custody in Blue Springs.
