KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A 16-year-old girl died days after she was shot in Kansas City, Missouri.
Officers were called to the 7900 block of Manchester on Wednesday night on a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a teenage girl who had been shot.
She was taken to a local hospital, and police said on Friday she died from her injuries.
KCPD identified the girl has Alexis Mitchell.
Detectives have a person of interest in custody.
