Troop 62 held an emergency meeting Monday night after someone stole their trailer over the weekend.
The trailer was taken from a church parking lot near 97th and Holmes.
All of the troop's camping gear was inside.
With several events coming up, troop leaders are trying to figure out what to tell all the kids.
"What we are doing is we are trying to let them know what's happened, let them know that we are going to figure it out. Part of the Boy Scout Motto is ‘Be prepared,’ so we are working on getting prepared again," Troop leader Joe Nastasi said.
Nastasi described the trailer as a 7x14 2012 Arising trailer. He said they had a hitch lock on it and that the crank was removed to try and secure it better.
If you have any information about the stolen trailer, call police.
