KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Grandview, Missouri police are investigating a shooting Thursday that left two teenagers injured.
Police were called out to the 12900 block of Booth Lane around 12:30 p.m. on the incident.
A police spokesman said the incident happened in the street.
The injuries are described as non-life-threatening.
Details of the incident remain under investigation, but witnesses told 41 Action News reporter Steven Dial the shooting was a drive-by incident next to a senior care facility.
"One of the guys that ran got shot in the foot but ran off," said David, who saw the shooting. "The other guy got hit in the leg. He fell, he came our way. We took him in the building in case those people came back."
