KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A woman died after a shooting Tuesday afternoon in Kansas City, Kansas, police said.
The shooting occurred near 5th Street and Quindaro Boulevard. Officers found a woman, who has not been identified, suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to an area hospital in critical condition.
KCK Police Chief Terry Zeigler said Wednesday that the victim had died.
Police are looking for a person of interest in connection to the shooting. The man is between 60 and 68 years old and may be driving a black SUV that appears to be a Cadillac SRX, police said.
