KANSAS CITY, Kan. — The Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the Friday shooting death of a 47-year-old man in Kansas City, Kansas.
KCKPD and Wyandotte County Sheriff’s deputies responded around 10:20 p.m. on Friday to Eisenhower Park on a shots fired call, where they located the victim who had “apparent gunshot wounds,” according to a news release.
Police identified the man as Mickey Lawrence Blevins, of Kansas City, Kansas.
The Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Office still is investigating the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact the TIPS hotline at 816-474-8477.
