KANSAS CITY, Kan. — Dozens of cars lined up Saturday morning at Kansas City, Kansas, Community College as volunteers prepared to canvas neighborhoods, reminding people to register to vote.
The registration deadline in Kansas is Tuesday. KCK Souls to the Polls organized the event, which focused on making sure everyone's voice is heard on Election Day.
"You do have that choice," said Gina Martinez, volunteering with KCK Souls to the Polls. "You do have that power and you have to have the courage to go out and not care about what people think or what people say about who you are voting for. You have to do your part for humanity."
Those who still need to register can also do so online.
