Election Day is one week away, but there are several opportunities for you to vote early, depending on where you live.

InJackson County, voters have seen wait times of up to four hours on some days at the county's two early voting locations.

• Absentee Office, 110 North Liberty in Independence.
• Fleming Meeting Hall, 21906 SW Woods Chapel Road in Blue Springs.

Early voting opens at 8:30 a.m.
