KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A new report from the Center for Disease Control's National Center for Health Statistics shows that the birth rate in the U.S. continues to decline, and is now at a 32 year low. This puts the U.S. farther from a viable replacement rate, which is the number of births necessary for a generation to replace itself.
