KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Workers at a Kansas City restaurant are showing their appreciation for health care workers.
Red Door Woodfired Grill provided 100 meals for those working Easter Sunday at St. Luke’s Hospital.
"We all decided we were going to give everybody the day off, but our team came together and decided we wanted to give something back and help out here,” said Gary Zancanelli, owner of Red Door Woodfired Grill.
Zancanelli said that they gave the workers fried chicken dinners.
Only two of the business’s locations are open, but others are looking to re-open soon.
