KANSAS CITY, Mo. — First responders are getting a lot of love from a local 6-year-old.
Ali Rabeneck learned to sew so she could deliver face masks to first responders to help them avoid exposure to COVID-19.
She personally delivered a bag of masks to the Gladstone Police Department earlier this week.
Rabeneck included a note that read, "I made these for you because I care you are my heroes."
After the generous donation, the Clay County Sheriff's Office also requested some masks.
Rabeneck sewed 80 more masks to deliver to that staff on Friday.
