KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A woman is dead after a rollover crash Tuesday afternoon on southbound Interstate 435 on the Missouri side.
Kansas City, Missouri, police said the crash occurred just after noon along I-435 just south of Blue Parkway.
The car was traveling at a high rate of speed and the driver lost control, police said.
The car went off the road, and the driver was ejected when the vehicle began to flip.

She was not wearing a seatbelt, police said.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
KCFD personnel searched the area for additional occupants and found no one.
Police closed the two right lanes to investigate the incident. The interstate reopened just before 1:30 p.m.
It was the second deadly crash on the city's interstates today.
One person also died Tuesday in a crash on I-35 northbound near 67th Street in Johnson County, Kansas.
