KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person died in a crash in Blue Summit Thursday morning.
Missouri State Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a crash at Truman Road and Stark Avenue in Blue Summit, Missouri - an unincorporated area of Jackson County between Kansas City and Independence.
The crash happened around 12:30 a.m.
A pedestrian was standing near the roadway when they were struck and killed.
The driver left the scene and no description is available.
The victim was identified as 37-year-old Ocalla Snyder of Sugar Creek.
