KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash late Sunday night in Kansas City, Missouri.
According to police, the crash happened around 11 p.m. near 33rd Street and Searcy Creek Parkway.
Investigators said a black Honda was headed south on Searcy Creek Parkway at high speeds when the driver lost control.
The vehicle hit a curb and multiple trees, flipped and caught on fire.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle.
They were pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash and have not been identified at this time.
