KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Twelve people were displaced in an overnight apartment fire in the 100 block of N. Lawn in Kansas City.
According to the Kansas City Fire Department, the fire is believed to have started in the kitchen of a third floor apartment about 1 a.m.
No one was hurt.
Some of the units have smoke and water damage, which is why some residents were displaced.
