A 16-year-old boy was shot near 66th Terrace and Broadmoor on Sunday.
Officers were dispatched to the area just after 5 p.m. When they got there they were told that the victim was transported to a hospital by a private vehicle.
Witnesses say the victim and the suspect got into a physical altercation, which resulted in the victim being shot by the suspect.
The victim is said to have life-threatening injuries. The suspect was taken into custody at the scene.
