KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two men were found dead in a home Tuesday night in Kansas City, Missouri, according to a police spokesperson.

Police responded to a reported shooting just after 10:30 p.m. in the 600 block of Elmwood Avenue, just south of Independence Avenue.

When officers got to the house, they found several people near the home saying people inside needed help. Officers went inside and found two men in the house who appeared to have been shot, and EMTs pronounced them dead, according to KCPD.

Police on Thursday identified the victims as Scott Collier, 32, and Jeremy Sartain, 32, both of Kansas City, Missouri.

There is no suspect information at this time. Detectives are interviewing people who were nearby and looking for any witnesses and evidence which could lead them to the shooter.

Police said the two men lived at the location where they were shot.

Anyone with information should call the Homicide Unit at 234-5043 or the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS. There is a $25,000 reward available.
