The College Basketball Experience 2017 Hall of Fame Classic will tip-off this week in Downtown Kansas City.

Baylor, Creighton, UCLA, and Wisconsin will be the teams featured in this year’s tournament.

On Sunday (Nov.19) the 2017 class was inducted into the College Basketball Hall of Fame.

Eight new members took their place in the hall. Tim Duncan, Paul Silas, John Stockton, and Jay Williams are just a few being honored.

While several of them went on to great professional careers, it was their hard work and dedication as amateurs that ultimately led to their success.

"It's really about finding those guys who had that great college career,” said Mark Heatherman, Senior Director of Events at the CBE. “We have a lot of history to make up. Even after 12 years, we still have a lot to go for those guys most deserving of the hall of fame based off their careers."
